As part of the IPP’s appearance at the biennial International Stellarator-Heliotron Workshop (ISHW) in Córdoba, Spain, Dr. Christian Brandt’s research group shed light on recent progress within the domain of tomographic inversion methods for X-ray emissivity reconstruction and inherent oscillatory Eigenmodes. I helped by implementing a Python-based numerical model of these modes in a linearised MHD solution space. The model was also applied to Blender generating visual aid for the presentation.
